At a recent Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee hearing on nuclear energy, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) talked about how Wyoming is strengthening America’s energy security by leading the way on domestic uranium production and advanced nuclear reactors.

Senator Barrasso highlighted the need to accelerate America’s capacity to convert and enrich uranium and praised the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s recent approval of a construction permit for TerraPower to build a groundbreaking, advanced nuclear reactor in Kemmerer.
