Sheridan County GPET Application Process Now Open

The Sheridan County Board of County Commissioners have opened the application process for new qualified organizations to request General Purpose Excise Tax (GPET) funding for FY2026-27.

In a release issued this week, they announced that applications will be accepted through Thursday, April 9, 2026.

Application forms and instructions can be found on the County website.

GPET funds are optional one-cent sales and use tax revenues allocated to local organizations and governmental agencies to support those providing services to the community through the application and award process.
