During this week’s Hospital Board meeting, Johnson County Healthcare Center CEO Luke Senden announced that Crystal Smith is the new clinic director, taking over from Heidi Huntley, who stepped back from the position last month to concentrate on schooling.

In the report from the clinic this month, Huntley said February clinic visits totaled 1,216 which was down from 1,252 in February of 2025.

There were 41 newly established patients during the month, up from 26 in 2025.

And there were 301 patients seen in the walk-in clinic compared to 403 last year.
