Holly Jennings has lived in Sheridan County for over two decades and was appointed to the Sheridan Board of County Commissioners in September of 2023 before being elected in 2024 to finish the term. She will be running for her first full four year term during this election. Since her appointment she has worked every day to ensure that citizens are first and foremost heard and that their values are represented.

She is a Constitutional Republican who believes in the tried and true ideals brought forth by the founding fathers of smaller government, fiscal responsibility, transparency and accountability. She understands the solemn duty a County Commissioner holds in being a guardian of the people’s money, maintaining a balance between providing necessary services and standing against frivolous spending and overreach.

Further, Holly believes that the position of County Commissioner is one deeply rooted in public service and requires an individual who has integrity, common-sense decision making, a hard-working attitude and is someone who has the highest concern for maintaining the liberties of his or her fellow citizens.

Holly graduated from Sheridan College in 2008 with an Associate of Science Degree in Biology and then earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Montana State University-Billings in 2009. Before becoming a Sheridan County Commissioner, she worked as a youth mentor at Milestones-Volunteers of America, as a manager for Good Health Market and currently owns her own photography business.

Holly serves as an advisory board member for the Salvation Army and as a Commissioner she sits on the Child Support Authority Joint Powers Board, the Law Enforcement Center Joint Powers Board, the E-911 Committee and she is a liaison to the Sheridan County Parks & Recreation Board as well as the Sheridan County Historic Preservation Commission. As a life-long Republican, Holly has been active in the Republican Party as an elected precinct committeewoman since 2015, she was the Sheridan County Republican Party Vice-Chair for over five years, and is currently getting ready to attend her sixth Wyoming Republican State Convention as an elected delegate.

Holly Jennings passion is in serving this community and she asks for your vote in the 2024 Primary Election.
