While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, City of Buffalo Mayor Shane Schrader alerted the public to large green waste containers for residents to dispose of yard debris as part of its seasonal cleanup efforts.
According to the Mayor, these containers are placed at designated locations throughout the city and are available for public use during peak yard work months.
Schrader said the program is designed to help residents properly dispose of grass clippings, leaves and small branches while keeping neighborhoods clean and reducing strain on regular trash services.

The Mayor wishes to remind the public that only organic yard waste is permitted and urges residents not to dump prohibited materials or household waste.
