SAGE Community Arts board members Michelle Forster and Erin Butler made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to talk about the upcoming annual SOIREE! gala at the WYO Theater at 6 p.m. Friday, May 2, bringing together art, music and community in a nightlong celebration.
The event will feature a cocktail and tasting hour, live performances by local musicians and opera singers, and an art show and silent auction showcasing original works by regional artists, with proceeds supporting both the artists and SAGE’s mission.
Forster, a talented opera singer, also worked in the local distilling industry, giving her a unique insight on the art of distilling. Four Wyoming distillers have been invited to take part in this year’s SOIREE! gala, each bringing their best spirits for the event.

The evening will also include a paddle raise fundraiser, curated tastings and a finale performance, with VIP guests gaining early access to a private reception at the SAGE Gallery. The VIP experience will feature an intimate opera sampling and expertly crafted spirits from the headline sponsor, Wyoming Whiskey.
The event is designed to connect the community with local art while raising critical funding for SAGE programming and will feature full opera performances, the curated silent auction featuring art-inspired experiences and creative packages and culminating into a high-energy funk and soul finale performance with local favorites.
