CHAPS Equine Assisted Services Executive Director Kristen Marcus announced the dates for this year’s Tournament of Knights, a fundraising event for the equine-based therapy organization.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Marcus said proceeds from the event will go toward CHAPS’ scholarship fund, which is used to ensure people who may not otherwise be able to afford services can still access CHAPS programs.

Set for July 25 and taking place at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds, the Tournament of Knights serves as both a community event and a fundraising opportunity, bringing together supporters, participants and local businesses.

Marcus said CHAPS is currently seeking volunteers, food vendors and vendors of medieval and fantasy oddities to create a renaissance faire-style for the whole day.
Tickets go on sale May 1. Advance tickets are $20 for ages 13 and older and $10 for children ages 7 to 12, while admission is free for children 6 and younger. At-the-gate prices are $25 for ages 13 and older and $15 for children ages 7 to 12, with free admission for children 6 and younger.
