The Sheridan City Council will work with a light agenda when they meet for their first regular business meeting of May Monday night. Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger says that an item under the consent agenda is a request from Mullinax, Inc. to access a City 30-inch raw water transmission line for dust control and dust mitigation at a gravel mining operation located west of the City.

The agreement that the City Council will be considering stipulates that Mullinax would incur all of the costs of tapping into the line along with long term maintenance and that water use be limited to non-potable purposes, must be metered, and will be billed at 87 cents per 1,000 gallons.  The City Council meeting will take place Monday, May 4 at 5:30 pm in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
