A 27-year-old Sheridan woman was sentenced Thursday in Fourth Judicial District for felony drug possession and probation revocation. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

On August 15, 2025, agents with the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation received information that Katelynn Bulkley of Sheridan was in possession of illicit drugs and that she was on felony probation for being convicted of drug distribution in 2024. DCI met with Bulkley’s probation officer later that day and a subsequent search of Bulkley’s residence was conducted by Probation and Parole and DCI agents. The search yielded LSD and Bulkley was placed under arrest and booked into the Sheridan County Detention Center for the charge of felony possession of a controlled substance – LSD.

Bulkley was sentenced Thursday for the felony drug possession charge and probation revocation. For violating her probation, Bulkley received 3-5 years for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance – cocaine and one count of felony conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance – cocaine. The sentences are concurrent to one another and resuspended in lieu of a 174 day split-sentence and 18 months of supervised probation.

For the drug possession charge, Bulkley was sentenced to 2 to 3 years in prison, suspended in lieu of a split-sentence of 174 days and 18 months of probation. The sentence will run concurrent to the sentence for the probation revocation. Bulkley was given 174 days of credit for time served of presentence confinement and was ordered to pay $375 in court costs and assessments.
