Sheridan Commission OK’s Revised Application for Snow Removal Equipment

Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered a revised application for federal assistance to acquire new snow removal equipment for the Sheridan County Airport.

Airport Manager Robert Gill gave details during the commission’s last regular meeting.

Gill said the final cost split on the equipment is $514,655 from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), $13,544 from the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) Aeronautics Division, and $13,544 from the FY2026-27 Airport Capital Improvements Budget.

The Commission voted to approve the application for funding.
