The Sheridan Community Land Trust is helping to spread the word about a volunteer fence removal project near Dayton that will help improve wildlife movement across the landscape. SCLT Marketing and Development Contractor Chris Vrba.
Vrba said that volunteers are asked to meet at 9 am on Friday, June 5 at Scott Bicentennial Park in Dayton before traveling to the project site together to help remove approximately one mile of old barbed wire fence along the Freezeout Stock Driveway northwest of Dayton.
Vrba says they recently acquired a special tool that will aid in the removal of the old barbed wife fence.
Vrba said that work may continue on June 6 if needed. More details on the volunteer project can be found here.
