A Resolution to place a proposition on the November ballot to continue the General Purpose Excise Tax (GPET), also known as the Optional One Cent Sales/Use Tax was considered by the Sheridan County Commission.

County Administrative Assistant Cameron Duff spoke on the Resolution.

Some discussion was had on the wording of the Resolution between the commissioners, with an amendment put forth that was voted down.

The commission then passed the Resolution on a split vote with Commissioners Mike Arzy and Holly Jennings voting against.
