On July 4, America will celebrate its 250th birthday and Sheridan County has a lot in store for the occasion. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has more.

Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger stopped by the Sheridan Media studios to announce that there will be a special flyover just after 11 am on the 4th of July.

Mayor Bridger talked about the community picnic on the 4th that will be taking place at Kendrick Park and the Trail End State Historic Site.

Bridger said that wrapping up the celebration in Sheridan at 7 pm ensures that people will have enough time to go to Ranchester to watch the fireworks display that occurs shortly after dusk. Click here for more events taking place in Sheridan County on July 4th.
