Science Kids was one of 15 nonprofits that received funding from the Sheridan-Johnson Counties Local Board of the Wyoming Community Foundation as part of their spring competitive grant cycle. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has more.

Providing Outdoor Science Education

Science Kids in Sheridan started in 2009. The nonprofit provides outdoor, hands-on science education and summertime classes for youth ages 6 to 14 . Science Kids Executive Director Julie Rieder.

Rieder explains how they intend to use the $5,000 grant they received from the Sheridan-Johnson Counties Local Board of the Wyoming Community Foundation.
