The purchase of a new fire truck was an agenda item at Monday night’s Sheridan City Council business meeting. City Fleet and Administrative Coordinator Heather Czaplinkski provided the Council with two funding options prior to their vote on the purchase.
Following Czaplinski’s presentation, the City Council agreed to go with option one and approved the purchase of a Pierce Enforcer Rescue Engine from Front Range Fire Apparatus for a total amount of $1.25 million. The new fire engine is expected to be delivered in the fall of 2027.
