The Johnson County Healthcare Center has been awarded two of three Rural Health Transformation Grant applications they applied to by the State of Wyoming.
JCHC CEO Luke Senden spoke about the awards during the Hospital Board meeting this week.
According to discussion at the meeting, the State of Wyoming was awarded roughly $205 million in the Rural Health Transformation program, in which funding for various projects in the state can be applied for.
The JCHC was awarded $4.7 million in grants from the program, and the state has about $40 million yet to be awarded.
