Johnson County Public Health Nursing Manager Kristin Friedrich spoke to the county commissioners at their meeting Tuesday, to ask for approval to change their hours of operation.
She explained why.
Friedrich said their office is now fully staffed and trained, so they will be accepting walk-ins in addition to those that have made appointments.
The commission voted to approve Public Health to close on Fridays beginning September 4 and ending on November 20.
