JCSD1 Board Nominates Belus for Award

The Johnson County School Board, during their regular meeting for September earlier this week, voted to nominate Trustee Dave Belus for an award through the Wyoming School Board Association (WSBA).

Board President Travis Pearson announced the nomination and read the criteria for the award.

Belus said he doesn’t work for recognition, but for the kids.

The board then approved nominating Belus for the Champion of Education Award.

Also nominated and approved as the district’s voting representative for the upcoming WSBA November Conference was Trustee Lynette Fox.
