Jo Co EMC Updates County Commission on Recent Full-Scale Exercise

Johnson County Emergency Management Coordinator James Cataline gave a review of the full-scale exercise conducted in the county back in September to the county commission at a recent meeting.

He gave details on what exercises were performed and where.

Cataline said overall the employees’ performance during the exercise was exceptional, but an area to improve upon in the future would be communication, and he suggested a company that would also include other entities such as the school district, among others.

He said he will be visiting the possibility with the commissioners n the future.
