Senator Kendrick will speak at the Orpheum theater tonight at 8:30 sharp. The picture at the theater will be “The Secret Game,” featuring the noted Japanese actor Sussue Hayakawa, and the entire net receipts are to go to the local Red Cross chapter. Admission is 10 and 25 cents.
H.E. Reckard, president of the Commercial Club, has been in bed the last two days suffering from an attack of tonsilitis. It is probable that he will be out for several days.
Six pounds of rice will be 74 cents tomorrow at the Basket Store. Six pounds of corn meal will be 41 cents.
