Three petitions have been presented to the City Council for street sprinkling. These are for Broadway, Works and Loucks streets. Three other petitions have gone out.
Lawrence Gillespie of Sheridan, son of J.D. Gillespie, had one of the most narrow of narrow escapes from death when he was in an automobile accident in Denver late yesterday.
A quiet marriage was solemnized in Buffalo today between Mr. J.W. Carey, who is employed with the Scales Motor Company of Sheridan, and Miss Mildred Baldwin, a student nurse at the state hospital. They will make their home in Sheridan.
