A Look Back in Time: Sept. 14, 1919

September 16, 2019

Mr. Roy Brown, his mother, Mrs. Bill McDonald, and Mrs. Anna Clouse, all of Dietz, motored to Sheridan recently.

An ancient iron kettle, a shovel with the handle half rotted away and an old pick are on display in the window of R.R. Selway’s office on West Brundage street. The relics were found in an abandoned mine on one of the dry forks of Middle Piney a few miles above Story by Kenneth Bellows, a Sheridan mining man, and William Babione, a Mead Creek rancher.

Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Bone have moved their residence from 430 East Loucks street to 916 North Sheridan avenue.
