L.F. Calkins has changed his residence from 164 South Sheridan avenue to 238 West Works street.

Plumbers, in an effort to open a clogged sewer by use of a fire hose, flooded the basement of the Congregational church. Four inches of water had entered the basement by the time the matter was discovered.

Sterling Davis of Parkman has returned home from the army after a year’s service. He went from Sheridan to Fort Riley in July 1918.

The Golden Rule store has new millinery for autumn. About 50 hats will be offered for special sale starting tomorrow, at prices from $1.39 to $4.95.
