Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Oct. 21, 1919.

An order made by Judge J.H. Burgess in district court in Sheridan directs the payment of nearly $57,000 to Natrona county as inheritance tax on the estate of Verner Z. Reed. Mr. Reed died in April.

Visitors in Sheridan today include Will Mattox of Parkman, W. T. Brown of Story, and Ed F. Murphy Jr. of Santa Fe, who is registered at the Sheridan Inn.

The Crystal Bakery has been improved by the installation of new electrical machinery. A doughnut machine will turn out 3,600 crisp doughnuts an hour.
