The impending coal strike, which it seems nothing will avert, has started a panic among Sheridan consumers. There is a wild scramble to secure coal, aggravated locally by cold weather and snow.

Fall and winter dresses are on sale this week at Reed’s, priced at $12.50, $19.50 and $23.50.

A new Auction Bridge Club was organized last night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Dorman.

A special train carrying officials of the administration in charge of the Burlington railroad arrived in Sheridan last night from the east. The train left this morning for Billings.
