National in scope, civic in immediate results, Thrift Week has started in Sheridan. Today is “Savings Day,” and tomorrow – Sunday – ministers will endeavor to increase church attendance by the spiritual call that should be combined with business professions.

D. S. McCalman, state highway engineer, is in conference in Sheridan today with G. V. Stack, contractor of the Big Horn-Sheridan concrete road, regarding plans for resuming work on the road early in the year.

Miss Ruth McClintock discussed the issue of “salads” at a very interesting meeting of the Sheridan Woman’s Club yesterday afternoon.
