Abbott Appointed to Recycling Center JPB

The Buffalo City Council has approved the Mayor’s Appointment recommendation to install Mara Abbott on the Buffalo-Johnson County Recycling Center Joint Powers Board.

During their meeting Tuesday evening, the council briefly discussed the recommendation and then voted to approve her appointment.

Abbott will serve the remainder of an unexpired term vacated by Jess McDermott that will terminate in January of 2024.

Abbott will then be eligible, if she so chooses, to run for another term.
