TONGUE RIVER (NLI) – One of Sheridan WYO rodeo’s co-Senior princesses and recent Tongue River high school graduate will head to college to throw some weight around.
Isabella Yellowtail has signed her national letter of intent to join the track and field team at Rocky Mountain college in Billings.
The events she will participate in include shot put and discus, which is what she’s been doing for the past two years and she says those two events are unique challenges, and even the slightest improvement is rewarding.
TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers have the meat of their schedule ramping up Saturday when they host a double header with Cody, Head coach Austin Cowen.
Again the Troops are home Saturday hosting two with the Cody Cubs game times will be at 1:00 and 3:00.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies where shut out 6-0 at Arizona last night, they play the D-Backs again today first pitch is set for 1:40 you can hear the Rockies this season on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
Following today’s game the Rox head to Kansas City to play a weekend series at the Royals before returning home to host San Francisco.
