During their last regular meeting, Johnson County’s Commissioners voted to accept and approve a contract between themselves, Public Health, and the State of Wyoming Department of Health (DOH) for the county’s Public Health Officer (PHO), Dr. Mark Schueler.
County Deputy Attorney Barry Crago explained the agreement further.
According to information provided on an earlier agreement, the contract specifies the State of Wyoming’s Department of Health will help fund the county’s PHO position, paying $9,600 for performing the duties during the coming fiscal year, with the county contributing $400 for a total annual payment to the PHO of $10,000.
The current contract is effective from July 1st of 2023 through June 30th of 2024.
