Two sites have been recommended for development of another hi-tech business park in Sheridan, and now it’s time to figure out what all is needed to develop those areas.
In late April, M-C-2 Engineering and Construction presented the Sheridan Economic and Education Development Authority (SEEDA), the results of a feasibility study on areas that could be used to develop another business park and made 2 recommendations.
One area is off of Rich Ranch off of Yellowtail Drive and could be considered an expansion of the current park.
The other site is on East 5th Street on the Storyhouse area property, near the county road turnoff where people would travel to get to the Koltiska Pumpkin Patch.
SEEDA Administrator Robert Briggs the board is now soliciting details and proposals from the 2 properties as they try to determine what resources are needed should one of the 2 properties be chosen.

“They need more detailed information in terms of what resources would SEEDA need to expend, both in terms of dollars and other resources to develop either of the sites cooperatively.”
The next scheduled SEEDA meeting is scheduled for late October, unless a special meeting is called before then.
