Sheridan County’s Commissioners have approved a supplemental lease agreement between the county and the United States of America to continue an existing lease at the request of the Federal Aviation Administration, extending the lease through September 30, 2036.
Airport Manager Robert Gill explained that the agreement is for a parcel of land approximately .85 acres just north of the Airport maintenance shop for use as a garage site for the FAA.
He discussed the agreement further.
Gill said the airport will be compensated for the difference in revenue from the old agreement to the new during negotiations, totaling $1,340.
