Sheridan County commissioners in their meeting today withdrew the county’s offer of $500 reward for arrest and conviction of cattle thieves.
The offer has stood for over a year. The offer was withdrawn because the surrounding counties have refused to offer a like reward.
A big turnout of Elks members is expected at the lodge tonight. Election of officers, initiation of new members and a smoker are planned.
