Fred W. Cooper has moved in to the fish hatchery at Story to take up his duties as the new superintendent.

Harry Wood, the former superintendent, has moved to Sheridan. State fish commissioner J.J. Lenihan visited the hatchery recently and stated the facility was in splendid condition.

The telephone company is installing a private branch exchange at the Great Western hotel in downtown Sheridan. Work started today. Phones are being placed in all the guest rooms, parlors, bar and sample rooms. The switchboard will be in the clerk’s office.

Reed’s has bleached roller toweling, twilled with red border, on sale for just four and three-quarters cents. Also on sale, regular $1 house dresses just 79 cents.
