The top ten applications will advance to the semifinal round, which includes a brief presentation and questions and answer session with the judges, tentatively scheduled for Oct. 9. After the review, the strongest applicants will be named Finalists and move on to Pitch Night at Gillette College, tentatively scheduled for Nov. 11.
According to Energy Capital Economic Development, they work to set finalists up for success as all finalists will receive one-on-one time with a professional who will help refine these pitches and coach finalists on presentation skills, including how to confidently deliver their pitch and present themselves on stage. Participation in this preparation is not optional and a key part of the finals experience to ensure they are prepared for the live event.
