SALT at The Whitney Center for the Arts

Sheridan College Theater and Dance Department is inviting the community to a performance by SALT Contemporary Dance Company at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, in Kinnison Hall in the Whitney Center for the Arts at Sheridan College.

 In 2013 SALT was founded to bring new voices of contemporary dance to Utah. Now entering its 11th season, SALT has grown into a well-respected company. SALT has worked with some of the most sought-after choreographers, built in-depth training programs, and shared innovative productions with the Sheridan community.

Reviewed by many as “cutting edge”, Sheridan College Professor of Dance Stephine Koltiska said SALT pushes boundaries and pulls audiences in with dynamic performances.

While in Sheridan, SALT performers and choreographers will give a master class to students involved with the Sheridan College Theater and Dance Department. These master classes offer rare and valuable insights and experiences to students who may one day be members of performing troupes and companies.
