Sheridan VA to Host Drive-Thru Flu Clinic

November 5, 2025

News – Sheridan Media

The Sheridan VA Medical Center is bringing back its drive-thru flu clinic to make it easier for veterans to get protected during this year’s influenza season.

According to the Sheridan VA Medical Center, veterans can access the clinic by pulling onto Fort Road and following the signs to the first parking lot on the left, before the first Y-intersection. Staff will be on site to provide direction.

To help expedite the process, veterans are asked to bring their VA-issued identification card or a current government-issued ID such as a driver’s license, passport or state identification card.

Veterans who are unable to attend the drive-thru or walk-in clinics can still receive a flu vaccine through their PACT team provider during a regularly scheduled appointment, or from a participating community provider.

To find an in-network community location, visit www.va.gov/find-locations, enter your ZIP code and click on Community Pharmacies to view options. The Sheridan VA Medical Center is urging veterans to call ahead to confirm the provider offers no-cost flu shots through the VA benefit and ensure all documentation requirements are met. Veterans should also inform their VA health care team once the vaccination is received so it can be added to their medical record.

To be eligible for a flu shot from a community provider, veterans must be enrolled in VA health care and have received care from either a VA provider or a member of VA’s Community Care Network within the past 24 months. Eligibility questions can be directed to 800-MyVA411 (800-698-2411).
