Sheridan Commission Approves Knucklehead Storage CUP on Split Vote

Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered the Knucklehead Storage CUP, to be located on a roughly 14-acre parcel on Meade Creek Road, which was detailed by County Planner Mark Reid.

After discussing the proposal with the applicant, the commission voted to approve the CUP with five conditions from the Public Works Department, including conditions for signage, a WYDOT access permit requirement if necessary, a drainage plan, landscape plan, and conditions for any outside lighting.

Commission Chairman Lonnie Wright voted against the application, keeping with the Planning & Zoning Commission’s recommendation to deny the CUP.
