Johnson County, WYDOT Enter Agreement for Monument Road Project

Johnson County’s Commissioners have approved the county and the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) to enter into a cooperative agreement for the Monument Road Project at Lake Desmet.

County Road and Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer explained the scope of the project.

Construction of the project is estimated at about $132,000; preliminary engineering at $13,000; construction engineering at $13,000; and striping at $1,500.

Preliminary cost is at roughly $160,000 and with administrative costs of nearly $18,000 added in, the total cost of the project is estimated at just over $177,000 for the 6/10 of a mile project from Interstate 90 east to the junction with Lake DeSmet Road.
