The Wyoming Department of Transportation Senior Public Relations Specialist Laura Dalles has announced WYDOT will host a public meeting to present the modified preliminary plans for the scheduled 2028 Coffeen Avenue Corridor project.

According to a WYDOT news release, in addition to the mill, overlay, and ADA upgrades, WYDOT will be adding center line medians between Avoca Street and 1st Avenue East.

As a result of a January public meeting and feedback received from the public and businesses along the corridor, WYDOT has re-evaluated the locations and is currently re-designing the preliminary plans and running traffic models to test the functionality of the changes.

Changes being evaluated include adding isolated left-turn locations and adjusting signal movements and Timings.

A public meeting is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, at the Ramada Plaza – Sibley Room – located at 1809 Sugarland Dr. WYDOT representatives will present the redesigned plans along with simulated traffic models for the public to review and comment on.

For more information, or if you are unable to attend, an online version will be available by clicking here. The public may also contact WYDOT Sr. Public Relations Specialist Laura Dalles at 307-674-2356 or laura.dalles@wyo.gov.
