An arraignment hearing was recently held in Fourth Judicial District Court for Todd Voogd of Sheridan. At the hearing, Voogd pleaded not guilty to one count of felony delivery of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, and one count of felony possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine. The alleged crimes occurred on May 2, 2026. The possession charge is being prosecuted as a felony because Voogd has two prior convictions for drug possession, and three or more convictions in Wyoming results in a felony.

District Court Judge Darci Phillips scheduled a three-day jury trial to begin October 14. A pretrial conference will take place September 10 at 10 am. Voogd’s bond was continued under the same terms and conditions that were previously set in Circuit Court. If convicted on both counts, Voogd faces up to 25 years in prison and fines of up to $30,000.
