WYO Rodeo board member Laura Dalles made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to speak on the organization and execution of the Sheridan WYO Rodeo Parade.
Sponsored by Century 21 BHJ Realty, Inc. and themed for 2026 as “Star Spangled WYO” the parade will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, July 10 on Main Street.
New to the Sheridan WYO Rodeo Board, Dalles has volunteered in the past to help with the parade efforts. This year she’s a key component to the development and organization of the event. But Dalles said the credit goes to the ladies serving on the Rodeo Parade Committee who have refined the processes of organizing the parade into a well-oiled machine.

As the United States of America prepares to celebrate its 250 birthday on July 4, the theme of the WYO Rodeo Parade is inviting residents and visitors alike to don their cowboy hats, pull on their boots and grab a chair as Sheridan WYO Royalty, WYO Rodeo Wranglers, First People’s POWWOW and more will celebrate Sheridan, the WYO Rodeo and the Nation together.

It’s an early morning for organizers, volunteers and participants, but Dalles said everyone involved knows the plan before the bands and floats take to the streets.
