The State Building Commission (SBC), through the State Construction Department, intends to amend Chapters one (1), two (2), four (4), and six (6) of the SBC Rules. The proposed changes address definitions and requirements related to campaign activity and drone or unmanned aircraft system operations; revise the schedule and administrative rescheduling of regular Commission meetings; and clarify public-event permitting, conduct, and enforcement requirements within state facilities.

The SBC is composed of the State’s five elected officials: the Governor, who chairs the Commission; the Secretary of State; the State Auditor; the State Treasurer; and the Superintendent of Public Instruction. The Administrator of the State Construction Department’s Construction Management Division serves as Secretary to the SBC.
