Sheridan Community Land Trust started in 2006 following a community needs survey of Sheridan County residents. Twenty years later, SCLT is carrying on that same spirit of community involvement by asking residents to share their ideas for what could come next. SCLT Marketing and Development Chris Vrba says they’re making it easy for the public to offer their input with a survey that asks one simple question: what’s one project, opportunity or challenge you’d like SCLT to consider?
Vrba says that they welcome any and all ideas involving conservation, working lands, open space, land stewardship, trails, outdoor recreation, and preserving and sharing Sheridan County’s history.
Vrba said there’s no need to have all the details figured out, as SCLT wants to hear about opportunities, challenges and possibilities that might not even be on their radar yet. You can take part in the survey here.
