Buffalo Council Updated on Water Tank, Treatment Plant Projects

Buffalo City Public Works Director Kevin Silbernagel gave updates on the water tank and water treatment plant projects to the city council.

He talked about the water tank project.

Silbernagel explained earlier that the 600,000-gallon water storage tank, located west of the city, was built in the mid-1990’s and was in need of a new interior surface due to 30-plus years of holding chlorinated water which caused deterioration inside the tank.

Silbernagel then discussed the water treatment plant.

The project is for a Microfiltration System Module replacement at the city’s drinking water treatment plant.
