Council Approves Bid for Black Tooth Park Sanitary Sewer Extension Project

The Sheridan City Council approved the bid award for the Black Tooth Park Sanitary Sewer Extension project to Northern Underground, LLC of  Sheridan in the amount of $114,570. The action came during Monday night’s regularly scheduled business meeting of the City Council. City Engineer Hanns Mercer says the project consists of the installation of an eight inch sewer main from the Northwest side of Hidden Bridge into Black Tooth Park through an existing easement that will accommodate a future restroom facility in the park. Mercer also provided a current status update on the park.

The City advertised for bids on the project on September 7, 11, and the 17th. There were a total of six bids and the bid opening was held on September 22. Mercer said the Black Tooth Park Sanitary Sewer Extension Project is fully funded through one-percent optional and public benefit funds.
