Whitehead Annexation Receives Council Approval on Second Reading

A request to annex 1.49 acres of property located at 4672 Coffeen Avenue was recently approved by the Sheridan City Council. City Public Works Director Lane Thompson says the property is located in Sheridan County, just south of Woodland Park Road on Coffeen Avenue.

Thompson said the property’s current zoning is Urban Residential and the applicant is requesting the property be zoned as an R-3 Residence District.  The R-3 request is an effort to match the existing R-3 property to the west, and to better match the Woodland Estates PUD density. The annexation requires one more reading and approval by the Council before it takes effect.
