Crane & Conway have obtained a contract to supply 5,000 head of cavalry and artillery horses.
They will be in Clearmont, Sheridan, Buffalo and Gillette this month to purchase animals. Horses must be 15 to 16 hands tall. The company will pay $110 to $130.
