A Look Back in Time: June 17, 1919

A.C. Rice of Douglas won the Wyoming State Championship in the big trapshooting tournament held in Sheridan Saturday, Sunday and yesterday, with a score of 292 hits out of a possible 300 at 16 yards.

Over 80 Sheridan boosters, with a band and the Boy Scouts’ drum corps, started out at 7:45 o’clock this morning on the booster trip to Hardin, Mont.

Sheridan is now being urged to try the experiment of a system of water meters, and the question arises as to whether or not the experiment is likely to be beneficial to the mass of our citizens.

Mrs. Meyers of Buffalo is visiting in Sheridan this week.
