Building Inspector Gives Updated Permit Numbers

Buffalo Building Inspector/City Planner Terry Asay gave updated permit numbers for the midway point of fiscal year 2021-22 during the last city council meeting.

Asay said that since July of 2021, the beginning of the fiscal year, the city has issued 123 total permits, 15 of which were for new homes.

He reported that there are still a number of contractors that have yet to renew their licenses for 2022.

Coming up at the next Planning & Zoning Commission meeting January 25, they will be reviewing two applications for water taps outside of the city limits, and a lot split.
