Treatment Courts

Drug and alcohol addiction continues to be one of the top public health issues in the United States today. While providing details of some of the upcoming initiatives of the Wyoming Judicial branch for the year, Wyoming Supreme Court Chief Justice Kate Fox, during the State of the Judiciary address, said they have made it a priority of the judicial branch to support, enhance and build on the state’s treatment courts.

Fox said they are working closely with the Department of Health and the Department of Corrections, focusing on training and taking stock, so they can see what works and do more of that in Wyoming.
